Forge problems (in General)

I just tried to forge my MH and the dwarf kept interrupting me. I selected damage, heated for 95 minutes, then cast viscousness. Three times the dang dwarf stopped me and told me I was doing it wrong! I tried selecting a different weapon and returning to the hammer, I tried having the blacksmith do 5 points and then forging it. But each time the dwarf kept getting in the way. Any idea why?

your Morgul-Hammer is cool to the touch
A Dwarf who has been watching approaches you. "That's no way to do it. Here." He takes your Morgul-Hammer and plunges it into the water bath until it is cool, then hands it back.
You cast a spell.
your Morgul-Hammer glows a dull cherry-red
You heat your Morgul-Hammer
your Morgul-Hammer glows a dark red
You heat your Morgul-Hammer
You detect a faint red glow from your Morgul-Hammer
You heat your Morgul-Hammer
...

I still have it in the log and confirm that viscousness was the spell cast, so I'm absolutely sure. I'm also absolutely sure I was starting from scratch and not accidentally in the middle of tempering or anything. Particularly since the dwarf had bathed just before this run.

I just forged a cycle on the X of the MH using Verfex's script and had no issues with the Dwarf

You should try to forge it up to 115 if you're going to do the damage part :)

I used to have this problem with forging morgs as well. Unfortunately I dont remember what actually fixes it. I do remember the problem, so no, you arent crazy. =) There is some type of bug with morgs for whatever reason.

Hehehe. Viciousness != Accuracy :D

I thought maybe I was doing something stupid, but not that stupid. Thanks. 115:25 does the trick.
