Advice needed: When to buy 2nd minion? (in General)

I am planning on buying my minion before 6/20. Is it bad? I just want to be sure before spending a great deal of money here. Given that buying this minion will push me right into 6/20, question is does new minion give me more mpr increase if i was already in 6/20 or would be at the normal rate if i buy one now at 7/20? Price tag is over 36 millions already. In chat i was advised that this would give me 1mil to whatever skill i want for new minion. Any last advice before Saturday would be very nice.

I say hire a minion before your nub ends. Say 2 weeks before. So you have a chance to grow it a bit more. You can easily calculate how much exp you'll get from the hiring (cost / 3 = amount of exp gained if you go with expensive option).

Before hiring, have an idea what strategy you want to use with the new 2 minion team. Don't just hire one without thinking it through. In the long term, you will want to hire a third and a fourth later on to close the gap to the top. Think carefully and plan it all out.

Do it, do it now! The sooner you buy the 2nd minion the more exp you can pack on it before your nub is gone... the sooner you get into 6/20 the less you have to worry about negative challenge bonus... and you get about a 20% or 25% (Can't remember which) Boost to normal rewards.

All in all the sooner you buy it the better... in 6/20 you only have to wait 8 hours and 40 minutes in between full refreshs... that gives a nice little break compared to 10/20 where its every 5 hours you need to log in ^_^

a lot of peopel say the sooner the better because even if you save up for the most expensive minion, u still get crap exp for being at such a high level. buy it now or like a few months ago

I assume he means 25% more per BA, but 25% less BA, or whatever the numbers are.
Definitely buy it before your NUB runs out. That minion is going to be underpowered when you get it and you'll definitely want to beef it up.

If you wait long enough to get the opinion of everyone on CB, you'll end up wishing you'd bought it earlier.

Just buy the sucker already.

Buy it when its gonna just put you into the 6 ba range. If you wont get into that range after buying it wait off until you will. If you will then buy it now.

How does that make any sense Nemerizt? Just buy it now anyways no matter if it puts you in 6/20 or not... with that month of nub left it will help to gain exp for the underpowered minion, and you will end up in 6/20 no matter what with your current bonus.

Yes... thereabouts...

Current 6 BA range is anything at or above 2,144,000 MPR.

It doesn't matter when you hire. Hiring while you still have your NUB means your team grows faster, that hired minion isn't going to grow any faster compared to the first minion with a NUB or without.

But the ratio of power of first/second minion will be slowly washed out by exp gained *after* second minion is bought. So more exp spread to both means less power ratio - which I suppose is good. The single minion growing just makes the eventual one-time-boost of buying greater (for more CB$)

gained 183k mpr with 37mil cash. Not bad at all. I didn't get to 6/20 though still have 168 BA to purchase. It will nice enough to see the jump however.

I expect your 6/20 ratio will kick in after cache flush.
