Trying to auction 2x SoD (in General)

Hey CB2!!

I am trying to auction off both of my base Sling of Deaths but I am running into a problem. I was able to list the first one, but I am getting denied on my second one. It is telling me that the item is not valuable enough for auctions. It has the exact same NW as the first one.

Does anyone have any ideas of how I can get this bad boy listed? I hear they are becoming more and more popular...

Maybe try a private sale instead. Not the answer your hoping for.

Or xfer it to a friend and see if they can auction it.

wiki says this in regards to auctions:

Auctions: Any item that is rare or with a net worth of $5,000 or more can be auctioned off.

i have no idea why the first one would work, but you can upgrade the second above that level and list it.

I have seen plenty of people auction off base items without a problem.
For instance there is a set of BG, NW less then 5k already in auctions by a private seller.

Must be a bug of sorts. However, as dude says, you can upgrade it a little and then retry to sell it. One x should do that trick.

Yea I don't really want to do the private auction because I don't know how often I will be able to update the sale.

As far as xfering it to a friend goes ... that would require a lot of trust. I assume that I could say cfer it to you, Ranger, and you could attempt to list it? Is that what you're saying?

I would even hold the private auction in the threads for you if you want to try things that route.

Hmmm I appreciate it Ranger, but the "bugs" seem to have gone away. I was just able to list the second SoD without upgrading it :)
