It's not the fault of student if
he/she fails because the year ONLY
has 365 days...
typical academic year for a student:

1. Sundays - 52 Sundays in a year, you know Sundays are for rest.
Days left 313.

2. Summer holidays - 50 where weather is very hot and difficult to study.
Days left 263.

3. 8 hours daily sleep - 130 days GONE.
Days left 141.

4. 1 hour for daily playing- (good for health) means 15 days.
Days left 126.

5. 2 hours daily for food & other delicacies (chewing properly & swallowing) - means 30 days.
Days left 96.

6. 1 hour for talking (man is a social animal) - means 15 days.
Days left 81.

7. Exam days - per year at least 35 days.
Days left 46.

8. Quarterly, half yearly and festival (holidays) - 40 days.
Days left 6.

9. For sickness - at least 3 days.
Days left 3.

10. Movies and functions- at least 2 days.
1 day left.

11. That 1 day is your birthday.
How can you study on that day ?!?!?!?!?!

Balance = 0
' How can a student pass ?????'

I think you are missing the fact that students often do things at the same time.

Eating & talking or talking & movies can often be combined :p

I don't know where you are from, but 90 days of holidays/vacation?

Also, who has 35 days of exams???

Your 30 days of food ingestion is based of the entire year. You already took out all holidays, summer and sundays. You are double counting all over the place. :)

Seconded, glory.

Here's a recount: Gregorian calendar, 365 days, 1 leap year /4 (+.25), cancel one leap year a century (-.01), reinstate it every 4 centuries (+.0025)

1. Sundays, knock off 365.2425/7 or 52.1775 days on average
2. Summer holidays, -50 days
3. Exams, -35 days (really?)
4. Other holidays, -40 (yeah 90 total is close enough for non-tertiary)
5. Sickness, movies, and your birthday, -6.65 days to round it off

So now you have 182 "school-going" days, total 182*24 = 4368 hours

Of those:

6. 8 hours of sleep (yeah right) = 182x8 = 1456 hours
7. 1 hour playing = 182 hours
8. 2 hours eating = 364 hours
9. 1 hour talking = 182 hours

So you actually have 4368-1456-182-364-182 = **2184** hours or 91 full days (counting the time you're at school).

Knock off 8 hours of school a day, and you only have 30 days and 8 hours for studying. Hardly going to fail you :'P

A teen really needs 10 hours of sleep a day.
