Don't Disenchant! (in General)

I say, think before you disenchant. Growing items are much harder than disenchanting, as it took forgers weeks and months to forge your items.

I encourage people to hang on to their items, wait a few days to see what else this Change month has to offer. And if you are sure you don't want it, put it in auctions!

With the end of NUB forgers, items grow slowly, so you never know if there is someone out there that would be willing to pay the disenchant cost, to save time and hassle. Forgers don't grow on trees.

Unless of course Disenchanting is only a temporary thing, Jon?

The percentage is supposed to go down, use disenchant wisely.

on a side note... i wonder if you can make a profit from buying from the store disenchanting and selling back =x

It's a bet on the future rate of insta down really. For anyone holding big NW items and want to cash out, insta down is the only option. Straight sale always result in crap return. 65% is generous for a number of items in term of insta down. Disenchant only correlates to forging as far as insta down correlates to forging. Forging rates tend to be higher than insta rates, especially on large nw items. Unless this changes, disenchant has little to do with forging.

disenchant has everything to do with forging... the larger the disenchant rate the higher the forgers can charge... or they can just upgrade something to disenchant it :)

I just think panic is bad more often than not. Sell out panic? Sounds bad...

Um, insta-down would've sucked for my BoNE, but now I'm happily sitting on 31m. Yay for big items no longer being worthless yet unremovable due to investment!

Damn you spell check, and all your children and their children's children and so on and so forth

Whats sad is that most items sell (at base) the same price as they do at 6 mil NW, i think it really should be base market price + 70%

But its always been this way, so i dont see that even coming close to reality...
