BL: Useless now? (in General)

Why train BL anymore?

It gives nothing towards your ENC.

Train more strength and boost your ENC and boost the x on the weapon your using!!!

More strength also lets you use better armor and perhaps squeeze in a missile or melee weapon.

So, why train BL? Why not just train more strength and with the flood of CB in the community boost your weapon.

Have fun boosting your weapon to 1.6x the damage.

I could see it needing a small buff maybe, but I wouldn't say it's useless.

Well with the boost to ENC one can get with more strength, one can boost up your TSA or HoE or TG. And/or equip better armor.

I believe that is worth it.

Well you still have to x1.6 both your strength and your weapon for that to work. If you have infinite money, maybe I could say never train Bloodlust.

Yes, you can add armor and are resistant to EC..

But quite simply what is cheaper? 60% of your strength (and the networth of the weapon) or 25% of your strength.

Why train BL! Why train archery! Why train evasion, it's thirded now. Why train PL! Better off just training HP. Go for UC, you will save ENC NW by not having a melee weapon! Go Junction, familiars are not even affected by ENC!

Again, not to be pedantic, but it does. ;)

Just 25% of what STR would do.

But it gives a potential 60% Damage increase.

I stand corrected.

It may well have a place in some strategies.

Lets not forget that levels of skills and spells account for 25% of the Encumbrance value. So BL might still be worth it.

If you can last to melee........ ;)
