Q: Do NUB characters get bonuses for def wins? (in General)

And if they do, is this a good thing?

IE, for a defensive win do they get the NUB bonus to their xp and money?

Just throwing this out as it was brought up in chat a few days ago.

I would imagine for a defensive win they shouldn't get their NUB bonus to the win. To be fair, ya know.

I don't know the actual state of things though. Wish I had a NUB so I did know. hehehe

Not money but exp for sure. I can confirmed this. Big part of my growth is the draws.

Yes, it does seem people did attack you quite a bit, especially in the later stages of the NUB.

Quite a lot of double taps were going on near the very very end. Seems someone really wanted to beat you badly, or just wanted to feed you some free xp.

I've experienced so many more defensive wins since the new fightlist change... too many people just hold down enter now.

Of course, what I was typing about was well before the "enter" continuous fighting was made possible.

And to bring anything to this thread. If this is the case, that NUB getting bonus to defensive wins. It really need to get fixed.

Apart from the obvious exploits that come to mind, if a team is strong enough to win on defensive wins then why not? Are you asking for the NUB, or NUB and NCB?

I'm most definitely getting bonus level rewards on defensive wins. If the bonus is to 'recreate' the xp over the four months that a top team gets in it's lifetime, then why not the bonus to defensive wins? Are you telling me that the top teams never got accumulated rewards from all their defensive win/draws?

I think it is safe to assume the bonus recreates it via wins, since Jonathan could not possibly control the bonus necessary to take defensive wins into account.

Additionally, such a possibility -is- ripe for abuse. Remember the draw strat, anyone?

I do remember that OB...lol. The opportunity for exploit is a serious cause for alarm though. But do you change it for the cash rewards, or the xp rewards or both? Do you stop it on the NCB as well as the NUB? To be fair it would have to be across the board.

Yeah, I know I was off topic, but I've also gotten significant experience on my NCB from defensive wins so I'm pretty sure there is a bonus.

I think it's relatively fair, but I guess there is a possible exploit as far as NUB wins because of the extra money. For example NUB pays all the money they win on defensive, so they can get more experience.

Do I think it's a problem? Any trades would probably be noticed, so not really.

What is wrong with bonuses on defense? The NUB simulates ALL aspects of playing for a long time, including all of the XP that everyone else has gotten from defensive wins.

The only possible problem is that a NUB (because of the increase cash per battle) could afford to pay someone to lose to them, and still gain from the xp, but it's not really a big deal.
