T29: BATTLE ROYALE! (in Contests)

Rules:
1) After 48 hours you may only attack other tournament characters.

2) You must have four damage dealers on your team, only two may be the same type (IE: 2 FB mages and 2 Tanks is ok, 3 FB mages and 1 Tank is not).

3) You may not use the same skill, ED, or EO twice on your team.

4) Every training slot on your team must be filled.

5) You must put a [T29] tag at the beginning of your character name.

6) There will be a BA cap of 2800 with 160 starting BA.

7) The tournament will begin June 7th and go to June 14th.

Win Condition:

Highest total battles vs Battles Won percentage


Prizes:
1st) A Mage Shield and 1m in cash
2nd) 1m
3rd) 750k

You must have at least 75% of the top players MPR to earn a participation prize. Everyone who makes this cutoff will receive 100k.

How do we fill 4 slots of EO without using one twice? There are only 3 EOs

Rocket > I think you just need every slot type filled... 1 skill, 1 DD, 1 EO, 1 ED. That's the minimum req's i believe.

Yes - you don't need to actively train the spells, you just need to have them learned

so we need 4 minions right away? can I have 2 AMF and 2 DM for example? 4 damage dealers = 1 active and 3 base skill? or equip them with a tulwar? is there a distinction between archer and melee tanks and UC and archer with melee and UC archer

Good question....is the differentiation between tank and mage alone, or is it melee mage (decay/CoC) and ranged mage (FB/MM) vs. UC tank, Archer, BL tank, basic tank, Evasion tank?

A tank is any minion that uses a weapon in a battle, or UC

Must the Familiar you use follow the rules. Like if you have already 2 MM you can't use a SF?

I don't think so, BA, otherwise this tourney would be impossible - there's no way to have 5 minions and not use a tank or mage more than twice ;)

Slayer, am I correct in thinking that people are misunderstanding?
From your example, it seems to me you can have 4 mages just as long as more than 2 do not use the same spell,therefore not the same damage and eradicating the CoC archer problem that everyone is obsessed with?
Or does everybody actually need 2 tanks and 2 mages?

You are correct, it is perfectly OK to have 4 mages, as long as only two have the same spell trained

How distinguished are tanks? Can you have 4 tanks as long as they all have different types of weapons? Are they separated into per weapon type, i.e. bows, slings, 1h melee, 2h melee, UC, or ranged, melee. Or are they separated by weapon? Or not separated at all and you can only have up to 2 tanks.

You can only have 1 UC tank because you cannot use the same skill more than once.

To clarify, the only slot we don't have to train on every minion is DD correct? You only need a skill, EO and ED on every minion.

Ok, here is a summary for those who don't get it yet

You can have 2 of any one type of mage, 2 FB mages and 2 CoC mages is OK
You can have two tanks
You can have one UC minion
Every minion must have an EO, ED, and skill trained, DD spells are not required.
A tank is any minion that uses a weapon to deal damage (a UC archer will count as UC, not a tank)

im pretty sure selling a tattoo to the store and buying it with your tourny char is not allowed... Yes i am still ticked off about it... And now ganging up on 1 person? ...

ganging up on one person is unavoidable in this tourney, lostling - you can only fight other tourney characters and it's best win ratio, so you don't want to fight anyone you aren't 100% sure you'll beat. Plus there's only like 3 active tourney players right now...

there is a difference between asking other people and ganging up on one and just fighting the person...

asking other people? I'm confused, do you get permission before you fight? o.O sorry, the remark went right over my head...
