Last Blender Standing ! (in Contests)

Contest is open only to 10 people. The first 10 that reply to this thread on or after 12:00 server time (~2hrs from now) will be included.
If the contest is a success then I'll run another one and exclude the first 10 participants.

The contest is a variation of sorts on a contest idea sent to me by OB.

Here's the deal.
The 10 people entered into the contest are expected to send me (via Chatmail) a post of any sort, which I will then include in a locked thread for all to see. It's a chance for each individual in the contest to impress us with their wit, wisdom, knowledge - anything at all. Obviously the PG rules have to be respected. No images or HTML is allowed as it won't come through properly on CM. Also, I don't want to do anything other than cut and paste your text from my CM into a CB thread :p

As soon as I have the 10 entries I'll post in a locked thread and make a poll for the community to decide who the loser is. Yep, that's right - the loser !!

Loser will be eliminated and the 9 remaining folks will then send me another email in which they can again cover any topic - but this is where the fun kicks in because they can also start to discuss the other contestants entries.

Again I'll post and make a poll until we're down to the last Blender standing.

Unpleasantness is a possibility, but not inevitable. If another contestant thinks he can win popularity or erode yours by attacking what you say, he is free to do so and I will not protect you, though you may retaliate. This does not mean a flame fest, because an obnoxious flamer, or one who does it badly may see his insults backfire and cost him popularity, resulting in his being thrown out. In short though, if you don't want to risk being insulted publicly, you probably shouldn't apply.

The polls will only last for 24hrs so the contest will run for approx 10 days duh ! but I'll be sure to make it worthwhile to win the prize. Don't apply if you're not going to be able to reply each of the next 10 days otherwise you're just denying someone else a fair shot at taking part.

Heh, that's OK, I am not sure I could pay attention for the ten days anyway, especially with having plans both upcoming weekends... Would rather relax and read what others have to say!
