Boots of Fortitude, +AoI (in General)

Catching up with the new changes atm.

The first to hit me was;

Boots of Fortitude. AC 12; -2 to DX; +0.5% to Leadership for each plus [normal AC] using in conjuction with an AoI on your first minion.

There.

Unhittable Leadership bonus. Something the AoL really lacked.

Go go +to hit and damage bonuses.

actually, unhittable leadership was already attainable. simple use of evasion and aol.

everyone knows evasion makes you immune to damage, right?

dversouri, that's not true. Anything DD will ignore evasion.

Has anyone tested this to see if this is how the AoI and BoF work?

The Problem with Evaison and an AoL, is you couldn't use the uber AoF with one... ;)

But I don't want this to become yet another ZOMG EVASION! thread. ;)

The 'finesse' weapons get a Cloak for to Hit, you can now have an Invisible Damage/To hit boosting minion. and if you use a Morg, you can still use a ToA for more To Hit.

Ok, one more time.

There is no way a melee tank can use a TOA and live to actually use the MH. No possible way unless he only goes after non-DD characters.

But then leaves him/herself open to unrelenting farming.

This is especially true with the ENC issues tanks now have to deal with.

I seriously doubt that using a ToA on a Morg Tank on a 4 minion team with MGS, PL and TSA where needed equals instant I Lose versus Mages...

Bypasses all that MgS, mage wall stuff.

And leeches tons of HP from the PL sink.

Again, find me 3 tanks that use a MH/TOA combo effectively (score=PR). And not someone just starting out. Someone over, let's say 1M MPR.
