Encumberance and Enchanters (in General)

Who cares?

I was fretting today as I had some nice Boots and Body armoru to stick on my new Enchanter, but they were far too large, and would totally encumber him.

I decided to do it anyway.

Then I had a revelation. All my little E had was an EO and an ED. They are cast before battle begins, and ENC has no effect on them!

So I can load him to the max, not worry about ENC, as it won't hurt the stuff he's there to do. ;)

your kinda slow.... just look at novice's old char

yup, but it's not too open to abuse, seeing as huge items that can really be overdone at low levels (such as DB, and/or wall gear) have their effects encumbered. So enjoy your 150m nw Corn (that's like what? +16? :P), and rest assured, nobody will be crying foul ^_^

Oh, and your +150 SBs aren't helpin ya anymore than your base ones ^_~

if you REALLY want to abuse the encumbrance...

junction a familiar onto your enchanter. The encumbrance max doesn't translate to the familiar, and they'll get the full usage of the gear.

Yes, you get to add nice booties and body armor.

However their AC goes by the wayside when your over your ENC, so it is a no gain event.

yup, just sacrifice the ability to train your damage dealer and give it a skill and/or EO/ED...

seems fair enough :P
