I was trying to forge an MgS, about 5-10 mins ago. I followed the formula from the wiki [120,22]. However when I reached 120mins, i which the MgS had just turned bight cherry red, i cast a spell of hardness. However the dwarf quenched my shield saying "that's not how you do it". I tried it twice more yet both, times when i reached the specified 120mins from the wiki, the dwarf quenched the shield.
Is the formula in the wiki right, if it is has the formula changed now that the shield no longer a power shield but a regular shield.
