Just another summer blockbuster that will make oodles of money without having any real entertainment value, I'm sure. But I hope I'm wrong.

They should have done the Saiyan saga, Vegeta will add some real entertainment value for sure ;)

It's not DBZ. It is Dragonball. The story arc prior to Z. Yes, the evil Piccolo story came from Dragonball, not Dragonball Z. And yes, it's going to be a terrible terrible live action movie.

i don't know how terrible if they have Piccolo in it...he is my favorite char...besides vegeta! i'm more of the evil side!

I'm excited, but also worried that they'll royally screw it up.

..This is a show where people fly around and charge lasers for 3 episodes then unleash it in 10 seconds and destroy planets.

I don't think I could possibly imagine them not screwing it up.
