Been this way for a long time, and lots of changes have come about to stop it, but people will still do it and it is so dumb. I wish there was a way to stop it, but people will do anything to get an edge.

Not everybody can be hardheaded barbarians. Take John the Fisherman for example. All he wants to do is be all "Hey, I'm John the Fisherman and I like to fish!" but ruffians keep pestering him. Can you blame a guy for training evasion and buying a RoBF for self defense?

If it leads to stalemates, yeah, lame.
If they kill you ... who cares ? :)
It skews the scoring system so you should care ;)

yeh defensive teams are lame! lol
one guy i recently fought had a single minion hp with ga setup to kill him no matter my str or dex i would have to have atleast 160k hp thats 60% of his at my mpr its not possible to do that and have a half decent str and dex
also the evasion robf setup is lame and way overpowered at my score it hit me or 75k with a 1.5m ELB i can hit 20k lol fair much oh and the 20k i hit doesnt count against this type of setup because i dont hit :(
nerf robf and evasion!
i say reduce evasions effect or make it harder to level(change level to affect ratio)
and make robf do recoil of 25% or so to all minions on a team using it

GA can be countered by using AC, ToE, or DM, no need to train a massive amount of HP

Some teams are forced to pump more into defense because they can't increase their weapons anymore. See also: the WA nerf.

Some people don't feel like using weapons anymore that are becoming obsolete now with the WA, Enc and Evasion.

...he is talking about people switching their items/minion orders when they aren't fighting (defensive tats, alternate items), to make people lose to them.

evasion is way over powered when i fight a mage with evasion of 80000 which gives the effect of 10 so as far i know this would change my bow from +17 to +7 i still think at +7 and 80k dex i should be able to hit on a mage with no dex, because im sure against someone without evasion i would hit no worries using a bow +7 so i don't get it.... please explain
corn i dont think hes talking about team order because if you ajust it to avoid one style of attack your vulnerable to another and with axbow exbows and msk its difficult to hide behind minions, also if you try to stop yourself being vulnerable to mm you make yourself vulnerable to ef so it works the simularily for mage too

He is talking about equipment switching primarily. He's annoyed that JS can switch his bow to a Mageseeker when he's not fighting so that he beats some people that normally beat him when his Elb is on.
superior: Many people, myself included, equip more/better gear when we're not fighting, and take off much of what we equip when we fight.
In my case, I equip a CoI or ToE when I'm not fighting, and a RoE when I am fighting. This gives me the increased rewards of the RoE while making some people draw/lose to me because of the added boost of the CoI/ToE.

oh thanks for clearing that up im new so i get to say stupid things every now and again :)
i should do that buy a ToA or ToE and equipt it when im not there and use my RoE when i am :)
And dont get started about evasion superior me, if you play the single archer, that is your biggest pitfall, really if you're at such a low lvl with little to no NW at all.
And besides every defensive setup can be broken.

Yes,
Defensive setups are quite LAME.
But there is nothing that can be done about it. Especially ROE/tattoo switcharoos.
We already tried Cooldown with disastrous results.
Perhaps, instead of a post claiming it being LAME, we try to come up with a solution.
However, Jon did finally remove one of the largest problems with these setups--upgraded ammo.
