Just got to space in 5 days! Anyone done better?

Was your 5 luck, as in getting luck money and ramp bounces when out of fuel (for one example)? On day 9 once I ended up with over 50,000 dollars just floating around (didn't even use parachute). I was thinking at that time that a lucky day like that during day 2 or 3 would have been really helpful.

Are you a parachuter? I haven't played enough to know what works best.

My best is 7 days.

It was pure luck, day 3 I hit 2 gold ramps at basically perfect times and ended up scoring like 3400 dollars that day, made the rest of it so easy. day 4 I already had lvl 3 parachute, radar, and emergency rocket. Day 5 I had max band and launcher, which alone are enough to launch you into space without using anything else.

I've done five plenty of times, but someone told me they did it in 4. I'll tell you if you remember who it was.

Just got it in 6 days. Would have been 5, missed by 100 feet.

7 Days for me...

But with Cheat Engine 5.4 (heh heh heh) I can get it in 1 :P

My best is 6 days. After which, I started going for the most possible cash in a single run (with everything maxed out, I just don't pull the band hard enough to orbit :P), current record is just over 561k ^_^

I got soooooooooooooo lucky, almost made it in 3 days.

I ended up hitting 4 gold bars on the second day, and 2 green ones, so I ended up going over 70 seconds and getting $100 on the dot. My total for the day ended up being $12,800.

I got up to 4,031 feet on day 3 but sadly couldn't get the last 500 feet or so, so it took me a full four days. Barely. I'm sure that 3 days is possible but I'm just not that patient.

I finally made 6 today, that was fun.

I like Hatchet's idea... Go for most money in one day... *smile* 531K is about ten times what I made on a "barely needed" day...

If you max out the band and leave the launcher one peg below max, a perfect launch will put you ~4250 feet up. works great for trying to set single run records :P Besides, you have to be like real space stations. If they give you a month time limit, you need to take at least 40 days and suck as much money out of doing things as possible! right? :P

I did it in 4 days. Trick is to just keep replaying Day 1 until you have a lucky run and get a lot of cash, then < 5 days is easy.

i can't seem to get him into space in less that 5 days but I kept him in the air for 8:03

You're supposed to keep him in the air? I keep trying to slam that darn hedgehog into the ground as hard as possible, but those anti-gravity platforms keep getting in the way. I've topped out at 134 m.p.h.
