SG / EF and the HoC (in General)

I have an idea to throw around. Just an idea, not an OP cry fest. Can we make it so that SG and the EF get no benefit from the HoC. All the other DD spells I can understand it helping, MM, FB are both ranged, even CoC is fired from the caster. But by name SG is a touch spell (IMO) and it baffles me as to why this gets an added attack round from the HoC.

According to the posts I read, SG is perfectly balanced.

In fact, it is so balanced I use the EF. Stop trying to nerf my uber strategy!!!!

I would not be the least bit upset if both went the way of the Dodo bird.

I don't understand why people think it's broken.
This isn't to say it's not broken. It means I don't understand. Does it do too much damage? take too little from amf? I kind of want to know, because Walls seem to be a thing of the past and if SG does extra damage based on AC, it shouldn't do much damage in reality. Someone explain to me please!

Makes sense, I can't grasp people from further away if I wear binoculars, and for balance's sake I think some fix is sorely needed.

or rename the HoC... Helm of Dhalsim. Causes arms to become stretchy and reach further out to hit the enemy from a distance. In theory, you could hit 20 yards further if your fireball is cast from your hands that are 20 yards away... Same concept as the grasp :P

So melee tanks could hit with their rubbery 20 ft arm? For half damage I assume its hard to hit someone on the end of a rubber pole...
