Question about Guardian Angel (in New players)

I just found this game, and love it. I first came into chat thinking..wow..no graphics, this really sucks. Then I started reading the wikipedia. I passed at least 4 hours just reading all the wonderful different spells, tattoos, and different armors. I really love the strategy part however, but some things don't really seem right to me.

For example:

Luther takes damage from his own Magic Missile (66)!
Luther's Magic Missile hit Onirod [543]
Onirod's Guardian Angel smote Luther (32)


The wikipedia states that

1. Guardian Angel must be 2.5x damage to retaliate.
2. Guardian Angel returns 60% damage.

My Guardian Angel is just about level 3000 at the time of this fight, which is much more than 2.5x543.

Of course, the opponent does have a Tattoo of Endurance, which means a maximum of 75% damage reduction.

Look at this: The damage returned by Guardian Angel should have been 543x0.6=326 damage. Let us assume that the Tattoo of Endurance has a maximum effect of 75%. This means that my Guardian Angel should have given out 82 damage instead of 32.

Am I missing something here? I've looked through the wikipedia, but I can't find anything else besides armor, which wouldn't make that much of a difference.

Watch the casting at the beginning of the fight: dispel magic.

Also, doesn't armor also reduce the GA damage?

In addition I believe that at lower levels effects are reduced somewhat

This looks weird too...as it Guardian angel doesn't scale with damage.

Yea, some other person bid against me...whatever. I find this game rather boring now, because it'll take too long to get the armor/weapons for my planned strategy.

It's because of armor. Armor has a very very small fixed damage reduction.
