there will be 3 soon :).... but your right it is tank blender evasion has a magnet affect for my arrows i hit non stop on evasion that is less 1/2 my dex not to mention the 42m nw bow im using and my toa that is almost my mtl so im hitting like quads <--- also sarcasm im not hitting at all =O

I am a tad bitter, yes. for month I have been trying to make the community understand how unbalanced the game is. showing clear evidence. and for months nothing has been done. spare me the new items for weapons nobody but one or two use. spare me the baby steps approach. something needs to be done NOW..

scrap evasion i know it seems dramatic but you can counter it with reducing the effectiveness of "x" on weapons inturn making tanks damage more str based then mages cant use the whole USD tanks are to powerful arguement and tanks can still be evaded through the use of dbs and dex

or to even it out make a skill called defiance were it acts like evasion but against mages and if its level is 1/2 of a mages dd it cannot hit <--- simular to tanks with evasion lol

last part was me being an idiot but the the first part stands evasions should be scrapped and tanks damage should be nerfed

No Henk if that stuff wasn't overpowered I should be able to hit you, your a four minion team and I'm a two, which means i have more concentrated DX, however I dont even land a shot on you.

But to just go ahead and state my opinion on the following quote;

That's because its either A) A low level evasion, or B) A relatively large PTH on the weapons and bonuses from DX.

Now, even with the bonuses from my ToA, DX, and PTH on my weapons, I still rarely hit the people on my list that use evasion and consider myself lucky to get 1, 2, 3, or even 4 hits. Had it not been for my mage, I'd lose every game. Doubly so without my GA/AMF combo

no because my 4 minion team is specialized in fighting Archer teams and non spread DD teams.
And besides your team only has 34 mil nw on the tank, probably not even half is in weapons. No wonder you can't hit me. 160 evasion here.

I left last time due to Jon calling me a vile name, one that he got fined for by Beee. That and the fact one of the admins, who is no longer playing, decided to arbitrarily enforce the rules.

The imbalance of the game is why I stopped playing now. I hope you can see how imbalanced it is.

For someone asking for small changes, what about the huge one that occurred when evasion got defensive dexterity. That was not small but embraced by you 100% at the time. Now, it seems you want to not go back, since you have quite an advantage using it.

But I thought PG stated ideas were not reason for a forum ban. I may be mistaken, but martyrdom---LOL.

but not as it stands now. Too unplayable for me. Unless I want to join the drones and play an evasion/SG/RBF or combo of these type character.

that is not what i remember at all, i thought he told you to quit whining in pretty direct and straight-forward manner.

of course i also remember that hardly anyone was using evasion, even after that boost until the very first evasion is uber thread, at which point i tried it. i really didn't start using it at any major level until the robf change though.

I´m not sure why everyone is so bitter all of a sudden.
I know this is going on for ages, but no one and I mean no one made an attempt of actually solving this problem.
Changing the AoF won´t fix anything. Changing evasion would resolve back into quad hitting for tanks all the time.

I don´t know how complex the coding is behind PTH, CTH and such but I can´t believe changing only one or two things would fix anything.
No real solution is given by anyone, nor the evasion users, nor the tank users. Beside the most obvious: Nerf evasion, nerf the AoF, nerf anything!

So I don't know what Jon is doing, but it must take time! So take a pill, relax and sit back. If you can't handle the game, then don't play it.

wasn't trying to plant a seed. i was actually trying to remind you of the fact that you were acting a bit like you are now. you kept calling jon out and pushing him on whether or not he should be treated as everyone else in forums. i think it was then that he called you the name and that was all in response to him telling you to chill? i may still not have it right, but i am trying to get it so.

I called out an old admin who was selectively enforcing the rules in FS threads.

Quite a few of us saw what was being done and called that admin out.

Jon took that admins side and proceeded to call me a vile name.

Beee even "fined" Jon's character.

It was then I decided that I needed to back off from the game since it was clear how things were going.

But, remember as you will. I know what really happened.

ZOMG!!!! There's a Tank in the Top Three! He uses 7,260 Dexterity! How does he get so high when all the defensive Dexterity from Evasion must nerf him!

He doesn't use a ToA and his MH is only +154!!!! Surely he'd not be able to beat anyone???

But one of the two people to beat him (in the fights shown) doesn't even use Evasion!!!!

i dont think any evasion mage is CB can honestly say versing a non USD tank or even a USD tank they do not have an upper hand as there is no way to completely nullify i mages damage unless you have an AMF 100x their DD but with evasion you can nullify a tank with 2/3 their dex easily

You can do it with EC as well.

Hell, you can do it with a x4000 EXBow on a 20 STR Enchanter.

Especially now if you lower the Tanks STR enough to force them over their ENC limit...

I don't think there's many people that don't agree Evasion (and along with it other linked aspects of the game) need a change.

I'd really like to see if anyone would post and say Evasion is A-OK as it stands.

Cause all of the people on my fightlist either use DD or don't use Evasion with their tank I.E. Sox Jr... doesn't take much Pth/Dex when the mages that use Evasion on their DD user nukes themselves from their own DD then my Tank cleans up the 20 dex enchanters ^_^

Evasion is powerful... but any mage that has Evasion on his DD user isn't hard to beat if you can outlast his damage... I can beat most mages except one... and that one uses the most powerful DD in the game: SG. The only thing I don't like about evasion using mages is those damnable NSC that completely kill my Amf which is the top Amf in the game...

Lets just say if Evasion ever did get nullified to the point it is no longer usable by me as a dedicated Evasion user... I would go to the other overpowered spell of EC... Now with Encumbrance the EC is so powerful when you can completely take care of Dex/str/pth/ac all in one fell blow

many of us aren't saying that ranger is wrong. we are just saying chill out and wait to see what happens.

ranger wants it fixed and last changemonth was soon enough. i can understand that, however it did not happen and now we wait. some of us patiently, others not so.

you can say that it is easy for me to wait as it benefits me, however when i felt that usd blender was unfair and not the game i thought it should be, i rarely (maybe once) created a thread on it. i did post my opinion in many, perhaps even to excess. it does take all kinds though, but i think many of us are just tired of the same ole same ole, day in and day out.

i also think that many of us know how fine the line is between evasion and damage being balanced and it swinging too far in any one direction. we tend to appreciate jon taking his time to do it right rather than constant complaining that jon probably never even reads.

i sometimes wish we had limits on how many threads we could create as well as respond to. if we had only a limited amount of chances to say something, we might make them count a bit more.

I waited over 6 months for evasion to be fixed.

And nothing was done during that time.

I got fed up, really fed up at all the posts being made about it and NOTHING done about it.

Yes, I am upset that even though the evidence that evasion is uberpowerful exists, nothing has been done for more than 1/2 a year.

Time for subtle hints is over. Time to take a sledgehammer to evasion and fix it now.

Time and time again I heard "evasion will be fixed, give it time". Well I gave it plenty of time, thinking that perhaps the next changemonth it will be balanced.

Draco can win due to his massive AMF and his large evasion. Is that how all tanks must be now? Or perhaps they have to be a mixed damage character? Unlike mages that can train SG and do millions of damage with little AMF backlash.

This is pathetic to even have this discussion. I just use the smell test. Evasion smells bad, vile even and it should have been changed months ago.

Perhaps now that I have left, Jon will finally fix it. Now that my MH is out of the game, we can titrate evasion to the next highest weapon in use, instead of titrating it the average non-USD weapon, letting ENC do the job for weapons above that.

But NO, we get ENC, we get a 1/2 WA and NO evasion change. All to help mages it seems.

We also get nice new items for weapons hardly anyone uses. Sure, let everyone use the MH, then change things so we lose millions upon millions of CB2. I know nobody cares I lost 50M on the VB, but what about all the other non-USD tanks? They get hosed because some of us used USD? When all that time it was not illegal to do so?

Remember, it was well WITHIN the rules to use USD. It was NOT ILLEGAL. We did nothing wrong using USD.

And yet, you advocate small changes to a system that is so very obviously broken.

I stayed in the game for months longer than I wanted given how things were. Why? I loved playing this game and the community. But I had enough. I still stay, waiting for my obvious forum ban, to hope the game gets fixed. But I see now the resistance to doing so is too much. Seems people who used to say I was too vocal to keep my advantage are doing the exact same thing.

For the love of anything decent, you do realize some words mean more than others, yes? The word "pr**k" is vile? You know what, unless people even know what I am talking about, they won't know that word with the asterisks in it. (I cannot even find it searching, except when I was referring to myself).

You dish it out, Ranger. And you dish it out so _ignorantly_. You try to use words to affect your own gains, and then lament when it doesn't work out. That's because you don't care about any of us. Really care. You don't, man. You never have.
