OH FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!!! (in Off-topic)

xD Due to recent events I'm fairly frustrated, so this is going to be complicated to keep PG, but I'm sure I can manage.

But to the subject at hand; STOP ARGUING OVER DUMB STUFF!!!!!!! That's all I ever see anymore on the home page. Ranger arguing with these guys and those guys and these guys arguing with these guys and those other guys (confused?). You know a trend that causes these arguments? An opinion. One freaking opinion is all it takes apparently. Everyone has them, whether or not we agree with it or disagree with it, everyone has one. And regardless as to WHAT we say there is no possible way to change someone's opinion. So when someone says something about "Hey, I don't like -this skill-". Okay... They don't like that skill. But THIS is ALWAYS WHAT SEEMS TO HAPPEN;
-I don't like this skill, its stupid
-But this skill is good for this and that
-But its still stupid because its over powered
-But its good for that and this
(carry on for like what was it... 150 pages on one of these forum posts?)

You know what the best bet is at this point? This works best in a spinny chair, but turn in a 180 degree direction until your looking away from the computer, stand up, slowly walk away and into oncoming traffic >:). Because that's pretty much the only way you're going to end the arguement over whatever the hell you guys are currently arguing about (I think its something about whether or not AoF is overpowered. Or maybe its evasion again? I stopped reading the page after I posted my one response. But regretfully I read one of those other forums for about 10 seconds). As I said before; An opinion is an opinion. EVERYONE HAS ONE. Arguing about it is not going to change the opinion. Even if its a carry on bitch-fest about whether or not a skills is being changed. If it hasn't changed yet then its not ready to be changed.

So just take a deep breath, close the thread, and walk away.

Oh yea... Don't expect a response from me. Honestly I could care less about your (the reader's) opinion at this point.

Threads have titles for a reason and if you open it to find that you don't like what is being said. Turn you chair 180 degrees, stand up, and walk out of the room! Or simply close the thread. No one is forcing you to read the arguments (not arguements!!!).

Well we try to Evade the topic as it has been rather sore. The amount of evasion that has been shown has people arguing, but in the end its the evasive way for the community to have a full blow conversation. But yes when people don't learn that it shouldn't be blown outta proportion and evade the name calling then it has gotten outta hand.

You cannot change these people's opinions.. they think evasion is overpowered.. and it might be the AoF.. or maybe it's just Ranger who is overpowered.. who knows? I do know that you wont change these people's opinions, but this thread is just waiting to be swarmed by 'em!

a well thought out post, expressing ones opinion and backed by facts will often elicit a similar response. one resorting to sarcasm, hyperbole, melodrama, etc. will often elicit a stronger response. this is why people tend to use them. if they are used constantly however, they lose their power to accentuate a point and often just serve to annoy.

I would like to express an OPINION!!

I don't know why people get so emotional about the arguments actually, but it seems to happen. I try to stick to numbers rather than going back and forth needlessly when it degrades to that.
