Must be a psychology experiment. See how long people will spend at it before they give up or pass out.

"People were passing out and getting physically ill," leaders of the player guild said in a forum post. "We decided to end it before we risked turning into a horrible news story about how video games ruin people's lives."

Too late.

DoS, that was my favorite part as well... people already passing out and getting ill, and they still thought they were quitting while they were ahead!?

I think were it not for opposable thumbs, ultimately we'd be at the bottom of the food chain.

Pandemonium Warden eh? I've never been interested in Final Fantasy XI... but if I ever played a MMORPG and there was a boss named "Pandemonium Warden", I'd be inclined to spend many days on end trying to kill it because of the sheer absurdity of the name.
