Error! oh noes! (in General)

I get these weird errors, a window pops up and says can't autoconnect, something like that. I know a few others are getting it, something about an autoupdate bug?

Also, my armor tab doesn't work.

since the auto refresh left frame got setup occasionally getting timeout issues

I also have to refresh every time I want to switch chars. FF 3.0.1.

I saw that half a dozen times last night - worried the daylights out of me! I thought some rogue program had hijacked my browser and was playing CB on it's own!

so it occasionally times out, but goes back to working okay after that?

Admindudemus [jabberwocky] August 22 2008 9:45 AM EDT

i have noticed it when running any downloads, such as with fileplanet. if ya close it out, it keeps popping up. if you leave it up however, it seems to be satisfied. once the download is done, everything is fine.

i figured it was the price to pay for having the left pane auto refresh. if there is too much activity on your end and cb cannot be reached, then the error box will appear.

I'm getting the same problem. An auto time out error or "can't connect". But in my case it's freezing up Firefox altogether and I have to force quit and re-launch. =/

It times out for me, but nothing changes.

Chat keeps working, the pages still load. It's just an annoying little pop-up I think. As far as I can tell, there's never an actual error that goes with it for me.

try reloading the sidebar now

Admindudemus [jabberwocky] August 22 2008 11:24 AM EDT

to test it out now, i started my warhammer online 9gb download from file planet. that is when i have been noticing the error, when that is running. i let it run for five or six minutes and did not get the error box during that time.

I am getting these once per minute.

Needless to say, it is getting annoying.

thing works great for me, I get the connect errors but only when I actually loose my network connection, nice addition jon... see if you can put a clock with a second counter also, that would be cool....
