Why would he pump BA and money into an item he wants to get rid of?

Either sell it to the store, or use the FS forums.

Why exactly do you want to auction a dagger?

The minimum NW the AH will take fluctuates. I can't remember exactly how.

Probably on past sales of said items, or thier overall Average Price - NW or something.

Helpful here! :P

I bought it for 24 in store, and try to set a min at 300 (so -214 auction fee, I have a small profit)

"I bought it for 24 in store, and try to set a min at 300"

Why in the world would you ever attempt such a thing? Who would pay $300 for a base dagger when there are four of them in the store right now for $24? It's not like base daggers are rare or anything.

Daggers aren't worth to be sold through auctions.
