Here's some easy clan points... (in General)

The character "The Force" has a measly 20 hit points, no AMF, a RoBF, and a Mage Shield, yet has over 2M score. I'll bet there are some pretty low mage based characters out there that could take advantage of this...

And hitting me, and hitting me. You are very narrowly focused and draining a lot of my CPs because you only attack a few characters. This might change your strat a bit if folks realize that, though you can clobber folks a lot bigger than you, it also makes you very vulnerable to being clobbered from folks far below you.


But the biggest reason I'm doing this is that it also shows off the abusive nature of Evasion and helps in my (and others) jihad to have this abusive skill changed. If I had even a 10% chance at hitting you this would not be happening.

I'd love to see an anti-mage strat get anywhere near those kind of results.

Yes, I still think evasion needs a fix.

I have to agree with Miteke here that being attacked by someone who has, basically, 3 people on their favourites is very annoying.
Of course it's SK's choice to spend hours and hours burning 6CP per minute, but for the targets that means hours and hours that they can't fight without being farmed mercilessly.
Pointing out the vulnerability of a strategy is certainly one way of "fighting back" and who said anyone HAS to be nice in clan fighting ? Generally there's not too much nastiness, but I'm guessing he's a bit frustrated right now.

actually, If I had 3 people on my fightlist, it would take me a bit over 26 minutes to finish 160 BA.

i tried that strategy for a while, unfortunately all the upper tanks had left so it really didn't help me that much. one thing it does do though is that while allowing one to fight way upwards it also allows much lower sfbm and decay teams to own you as well.

isn't this what specialized strategies always allow though? it will be very interesting to see the next changemonth and the promised evasion changes that jon will implement. unless he totally changes the dynamics of evasion, i foresee that we will still see the words abusive and overpowered being used due to the fact that if it keeps people from hitting entirely, they will not be satisfied, regardless of how much xp it takes to get to that level.

i guess we all wait and see.

Like I said, it's your choice to fight whoever you want and an optimised strat is good for hitting high (as you do) but it also makes you vulnerable, but the thread has already covered this.

SP, how high were you able to kill back in the day with your 4 EC strat?

Still, his score did drop to a half of what it was so some folks got in a few good licks while it was down at 20 hitpoints. Not that it will help me personally much, since my character is not that much bigger than his. My character is a reasonable and valid target for his strat even with the 300K diverted to hitpoints.

But I made my point about evasion so I'm happy.

My score dropped that low because I retrained...

You'll live. And with the diversion to hitpoints you will quickly make it up tomorrow. That should teach you not to draw attention to yourself by banging away on three characters for hours when your strat is so vulnerable :)

Heck, I'll probably go negative for a while too since I've drawn attention to myself and every evasion team anywhere near my PR will take a shot at me!

Being attacked 326 times in the last 24 hours isn't really getting farmed. You guys can do better!

I think AMF + AS/GA + maybe a TSA PL battery thingy is the anti-mage. I don't think you can hit as high, but still high enough than most strat.

I'm with NS.... that ain't real farming.
I typically don't get attacked less than 300 times in 24hrs and that's by 6/20 folks...

I remember getting nailed 800 times in one day (one of LA's old clan members did 180 in 24hrs on me)

Farming just proves you are popular... for all the wrong reasons.

Sorta like what I did to SK in T31 after he flipped out and threatened to do whatever it took to ensure that I did not place in the top 3... didn't really turn out in his favor though. =)
