Minion 1: Wall with HP, SS
Minion 2: Enchanter with Junction, AS, EF
Minion 3: PL with HP, PL

Early on I could see this working pretty well. Higher up MM might be a problem since PL won't be doing it's job reducing damage from large MM's. I also think defensive teams, which is what this one looks like, work far better with a ToE. I'd switch the enchanter to a CoC mage and train PL and AS on the 3rd minion, and stick a ToE on the mage.

Or not.

I use a similar setup, if you put the wall in back and the PLer up front and then put AoIs on the PLer and the Enchanter it works really well. It defends against MM & Physical damage.

With the nerf to the Mage shield, this is more effective. From AC my wall gets about 60% reduction to magic damage.

I would use a TSA and MgS on the PL minion.

If you switch to a ToE, use SG of course not CoC. SG can handle going through Walls, GA, ToE, anything etc. until it's hopefully nerfed.

Not only will putting the wall in back protect you from MM, but your wall won't be SGed or Decayed. The only downside is the 6 mil/$22 to get two AoIs. Even a really expensive Mage Shield/AC items for your PL wall won't match the protection from MM that the wall gives.

thanks for the advice :)

actually, I would consider training, AS on the back minion, or even GA. Yes dispel will be your biggest weakness, but the survivability boost will allow you to last much longer, and allow the EF to shoot. Hence you will challenge higher, which is more important than getting farmed less.

Having a decent wall backed by a ToE is actually pretty devastating for fighting up as well. I have someone double my PR/MPR on my fight list.

Seems to me that everyone is using PL/TSA,MGS combo these days.

Anyone know a good strat against that?

More damage? The mage shield isn't that great an item anymore.

However, the TSA is pretty harsh because of the way it works with PL. Not even counting the massive boost to strength it can give, the regen is still pretty devastating.
