anyone in high school? (in Off-topic)

if your in high school how was your first day of highschool mine was ok boring and it was on sept 3

I loved High School when I went.

And our schools started weeks ago around here. Even our colleges. When does your summer vacation start though?

june 16- to sept 2

Daughter no.1 started high school a couple of weeks ago and is loving it. She is most certainly not bored and can't stop talking about the place and all the cool teachers and older kids...
Makes me shake my head every morning though as she puts herself through the whole makeup and hair straightening routine. When did kids start doing all that stuff for school..?
Also, no more bye bye kisses for dad when I drop her at school because, "Dad, that's so un-cool!"

did she just get in high school i am so bored with high school im a senior this year and so far its been very boring fall asleep in chemistry class like every time

college started sept 2nd for me.

Thank God I got out of the hellhole that is high-school...

I'm a senior now too. It's weird walking around and not seeing any students older than you.

I wouldn't be in such a hurry to get out of school, there's no summer vacation and part time jobs when you're jamming a nine to 5 the rest of your life. Best years of your life, messing around without a care in the world.

#3 senior here as well :D (I mean I'm one of three)... It blows having only 2 required classes and then 3 elective classes >.> I dunno how it is where you (the reader) are but here we have to have minimum of five classes (lunch after fourth class) and the only way to have four is if you go to college or have a job. Next semester I'll be taking a college class or two so four periods will be nice ;D
