Forum signatures (in General)

Good idea or bad idea?

Good idea, as long as they are limited to 8 characters or less.

I don't know don't see what the problem would be with it if people wanted to make sigs.

Might clutter up the thread imo, although it would be cool to have a signature. Not limited to 8 characters though.

those with forum pics turned off have chosen not to view sigs ^_^ Clutter would be a bad idea, and fairly useless... Last month for example, would have had at least 30-40 sigs about evasion Bad enough half the threads are about something, we don't need the responses to the other half to be about the same thing :P

i like the clean uncluttered view that we have now, just the facts ma'am!

if this change was implemented i would likely quit the game due to the strain on my eyes. well maybe not, but i have always wanted to throw around ultimatums like that.

Signatures are really unique, and I'd never argue having them here on CB. I'm sure we can figure out a way to reduce clutter caused by sigs especially if it's such a concern. Woo sigs!

If we have the option to turn off sig images, then that'd be fine with me.

My dialup's just not heavily image friendly. ;)

Idea.

Post in the dragon cave thread. Tell em you can put links to their eggs in their scrolls, all you gotta do to get clicks is play cb and post on the forums from time to time.

We could get like 50 new players that way.

8!? Man, that's harsh. That means a simple phrase like "Game Over" would be disallowed. Many player names would be out. I'd be only one char under the limit.

Instead, I just vote a straight "no" on sig lines. I'd rather have no sigs than one limited to 8 chars.

How about toggle-able signatures? Being able to turn them on or off as you please through the settings by simply checking a box.
