Gift Giving (in General)

If I have a friend who has recently started playing CB, would it be considered unfair if I gave them a few of my spare items to help them get started? I'm talking about giving him a base tat or something similar.

Thanks for your feedback.

I would say gift away, to an extent of course :)

You can give as many gifts as possible, if someone doesn't like it they can take it up with me ;p.

a base tatt or a katana or suchlike are not what I'd call suspicious. It's movement around of large items or money that rings alarm bells.

If you're really worried about it PR it. Alternatively you could let me know who they are and I'll send em a tatt!

Are they using the same IP as you?

Historically gifts are fine. That being said I've avoided it with RVT as much as I could to avoid even the appearance of evil. New users don't really need much with the NUB in place, a tat of some size is about the best thing you can give.
