New idea for specialty xbows (in General)

Some people have brought up the stat drain of exbow/axbow as being too much and needs to be adjusted.

Thanatos and I have come up with new ideas for these weapons.

First,the axbow has been considered the oxymoron weapon of CB."I'm going to take this xbow and try to hit the guy that is hardest to hit to make it so he can't hit me" kind of thing.Since this xbow has a lower BTH and trying to hit the opponents highest dexterity minion first seems stupid as an assassins choice of weapons.

A good fix is change the axbow so that it targets the minion with the lowest HP and ignores PL.This idea sounds like an assassins crossbow for CB.

Next is the exbow.It is nice to drain stats but lets have this changed to drain BOTH strength and dexterity but at perhaps 1/4 or 1/3 the rate of before.Have it target the minion with the highest strength since that is the one you want weakened.

Just some fun ideas to toss out there,let us know what you think.

I like the assassin's idea; it would devastate my team...

if the axbow got changed to that, i would demand that i could change my exbow to an axbow. work very well with my MoD

except that you rarely want to target the minion with least HP.

An assassin might.. if he wants to reduce enemy numbers....

Is this idea really that bad?

I find all special-ability weapons to be at least somewhat compelling, because they can diversify or specify different strats. However, I think that adding a new weapon to the game with new abilities would generally be better than changing around abilities on existing weapons, unless you gave a sort of free NW retrain to those who already have an Ex/Axbow and want the other one, post-change.
