New NCB strategy DiscussioN: (in General)
I think I would like to see : 4 minion strategy with FB concentration just like how you run HP/FB/ small Evasion mage before. But this time add 3 AoL / BoF on other 3 worthless minions. and runs ROE strategy
Even if you reach 3mil Mpr at the end of ncb. (without ROE boosting like before) You should have this advantage: A lot of of fire power in range. I bet you it would be far more effective than any other range weapon.
Biggest Fireball right now ~ 16mil in level, and it hurts so much. That's only with 1 AoL/BoF or so. Imagine 3 pairs of those.
2nd advantage: you can put MM to shame (obviously)
3rd advantage: you can switch minion order (like i always do to get free draws/exp) to put SG team to shame. You do have 2 rounds advantage.
If this biggest FB team hire more minions aith AoL / BoF. I am 100% sure he will kill my 12mil HP quite easy in range. But you can do it too with free minion option. Discuss? Other thoughts?
Don't work, rather, when the minion isn't in the lead.
20HP / 20HP / 20hp / BIG FB ( 4 minion order) = does not work?

He means only the AoL/BoF on *first* minion alive has any effect.
If you have three identical sets on all three leading minions or just one set on the first minion, the effect is the same (until that minion dies).

what am i missing here? wouldn't your big fireball's splash damage kill off the small minions in the first round?

FB doesn't work like it used to with the damage cuts. Be prepared to get at least a round me melee no matter what. Realistically a few.

Solare could you please post when you hired your second minion and how large your FB level is and what your average damage is in ranged and up to melee. I think this would help the discussion a lot, thank you.

what he's getting at is that the 3 other minions do nothing... However, in round one, non-spread teams kill a minion, and the next one steps up with a BoF/AoL of it's own. When that minion dies, the third is right behind it. Sure, the AoL/BoF is wasted against spread teams, but it's the same concept as how DM sucks against SFBM, and EC is horrible against mages :P
with only 20hp per minion though, wouldn't they all just die the first ranged round from splash damage?
d'oh! i forgot that the splash damage doesn't come into play until melee which is what cubicle was saying, my bad.

Or is CB terminology simply too confusing?
i wasn't referring to spread teams damage but rather your own, i simply forgot that fireball splash damage did not start until melee round one. my reading comprehension is fine, it is my aging memory that fails me on occasion.
