Items on zero XP minions add no PR (in General)

I started my new NCB idea, single minion with a RoE for three extra slots.

Originally I thought I'd only use one for a AoI/BoF combo, with the rest to suck up MM.

But, it seems you can stick everything you want on these guys and it doesn't add any PR.

So I'm going to keep them alive with AS from my single minion (go go AS over a 4 minion team) and load them with as much AC and EH and MGS etc etc as I can, as it adds no additional 'power' to my team.


FB does nothing to me so far, spread over 4 minions, three of which are loaded to the teeth with whatever Gear I had lying around.

And of course the Read minion will be wearing as big a MGS and EH as I can purchase.

I think the Front will use a SoC, just for more Physical reduction, and I might even have an AoI front minion too, just to utterly foil Decay.


With signle minion XP concetration to boot!

Encumbrance reduces AC. I don't think this applies to MgS and EH effects, but loading them up with AC won't help too much. I would go BoF, AoI, AoL, MgS... all gear that has effects separate from AC granted.

I was going to try this idea - the payoff of having 'free' minions later on is great - but the climb is going to be difficult. Good luck! :)

Good catch about ENC and AC CC. ;) More MGS/SOC/EH then! ;)

Encore, I'm a single minion fiend. But this is a single minion. ;) Just with three other bodies worth of gear slots! :P

My current thought on set up for this is;

1: Base Minion, AoI, BoF, MGS, EH
2: Base Minion, AoF, SoC, EH.
3: SG, EC, AS, AoAC, HoC, NSC, RoE, SB.
4: Base Minion, AoF, MGS, EH.

With leather to whatever else with a cheaper upgrade curve in all the reaming slots on the base minions (while they will be reduced by ENC, there's no reason not to. An extra point is an extra point).

The First minion will provide 'Leadership' to the 'Single' Mage and protect versus Decay. The Rear will stop MM. All three will spread and reduce FB/CoC.

EC is there to lower Damage to keep the second alive longer, but if this (or Mageseekers - lol) become a problem, Evasion can be trained on the Mage.

Single Minion XP concentration is there to combat AMF (alongisde the NSC) and GA (with a little natural AC on the Mage as well).

Shouldn't the rest of the throwaway armor slots be wall armor? Like other than the MgS and possibly EH for the magic slapping down. A teeny SS would also help (and who cares about 50% extra on err what 50 MPR?). They have an even lower upgrade curve than leather iirc.

GS gives ENC. It might be worth growing another minion with just a little GS. It's VERY efficient in giving it btw...

If only it weren't for DM and EC, and the fact that you rarely are at your ENC limit on all your minions.
