CoC-based strategy (in General)

Arthas October 30 2008 11:47 AM EDT

I was thinking of doing a W|M|E|E, just looking for suggestions, improvements, criticisms. All are appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Wall,
Steel Skin: 1/8
HP: Max
Decay: base

Mage,
HP: 1/4
CoC: Max
Armor Prof.: base

Enchanter,
AMF: 1/2
GA: Max

Enchanter:
AS: Max

Tattoo can either be Hal, ToE or IF.

AS GA is always weak to DM without an RoS. So I'd definitely choose
that over a ToE.

Also, if you really have to use a base decay, I'd put it on the
enchanters not on the wall. Also, remember SG is front hitting, so you'll always be weak to either MM or SG, but never protected from both. 2nd position isn't a bad place.

I think a base decay on a wall is bad idea. If you really want decay, put it on an enchanter.

Put at least one enchanter in the front, perhaps with a AoI. This is to buy time against ranged or SG. Another idea would to put everything but the wall in front with a AoI. That would make the most of the AC and reduction.

Also worth noting that I'm not so sure the GA nor AMF will be big enough to do anything. Better to train GA till people can't break your cap, then start training AMF. (though always have a small AMF solely for decay reasons)

Note that your CoC will be very vulnerable to GA and AMF, AS and trained hp will by no means be enough to keep it alive against retribution based teams. You might want to consider SG or something else for the sake of survival. It'll do you well for a while though.
