Confused by the tattoo artist (in General)

Tattoo to change
Tattoo to consume
Ink Me
Do the deal

What do these terms mean? And if I reink what would happen to naming? Could someone please explain?

I have a hal right naos at 60k level, I may want to ink it to an EF... What would happen if I named my hal and inked it to an EF?

you would choose the hal as your tattoo to change, you would have to acquire an electric familiar and choose that as the tat to consume.

the naming would carry over to the new ef as well as all the levels from the hal.

also, at the end you would only have one tattoo.

I'm also confused by "Do the deal." I get that "Ink Me" is pretty much the submit button, but I can't figure out what the other one is for. Some clearer wording would be more appropriate on these buttons.

Yeah, they both looks like "yes" buttons. I guess it's an offer you can't refuse !

:O what does Do the deal button do?

They both link to the same javascript command, lol.

I'd be left with one tattoo? ='( I guess I'd wait thens! Also is there anyway to transfer your naming to another item?

Salvage yard if it is a big 5 weapon (I think). And tattoo artist if it is a tattoo.
