Zoglog[T] [big bucks] November 15 2008 7:00 PM EST

I like the way they claim you can legally smoke it in restaurants but I don't know a single restaurant owner who would say "Hey, you know what? You're right, carry on with that as long as you like"

Eurynome Bartleby [Bartleby's] November 15 2008 7:06 PM EST

''Hey, this guy is smoking! He can't be smoking in your restaurant!''

''You are right, but wait...see? It's not real.''

''I see. Cool. Carry on''

(Other client) ''HEY! This guy is smoking in your restaurant!''

''Yeah, I know, but wait...see? It's not real.''

''Oh''

(Other client) ''HEY!....''

Trapping the poor manager in an infinite loop that will eventually drive him crazy. Nice! :P

The thing is you guys...

It LOOKS like a cigarette

It TASTES like a cigarette

It FEELS like a cigarette

But it's NOT a cigarette!
It's so much more.

Eurynome Bartleby [Bartleby's] November 15 2008 7:51 PM EST

"Electronic inhalable nicotine patch"
:)

I'd actually buy that IF the cartridges would costs less than actual cigarette packs where I live AND if the "main unit" would have a reasonable price (50 bucks tops).

AdminTal Destra November 15 2008 9:16 PM EST

150.00$ USD for a damn cigarette? plus you gotta buy the charger and the cartridges.

Its not worth it. I am a smoker and I would rather wait for my meal to be done at a resturant then pay that much for something that probably doesn't even feel/taste the same.

I say No Thank You!

Goodfish November 15 2008 9:41 PM EST

FACT: I am ready for a change.

Admindudemus [jabberwocky] November 15 2008 9:47 PM EST

"150.00$ USD for a damn cigarette?"

it is all relative, how much do you pay per week now for cigs?

i quit dipping a few years back (yep, redneck i be) and went through about a can every 2 to 3 days. that is 10 to 15 cans a month, at six bucks each that is $60 to $90 per month and $720 to $1,020 a year.

nicotine is a habit that is expensive as hell no matter how you look at it and that is not considering any medical costs that you might incur due to it or increased insurance premiums.

if money is an issue at all, quitting would be the wiser decision.

AdminTal Destra November 15 2008 9:55 PM EST

i don't know how much i spend on cigs

lets see
1lb bag of tobacco 16.00$
3 cartons of papers 8.00$
so $24.00 for for a 2 month supply?
thats not bad imo

Admindudemus [jabberwocky] November 15 2008 10:23 PM EST

yep, you are paying less than 150 bucks a year for something that probably takes years off of your life and could result in a nasty death. truly a bargain! ; )

how long have you been addicted to nicotine? from my experience you start using more and more to get the same effect.

Colonel Custard [The Knighthood] November 15 2008 10:38 PM EST

Awesome! Now I can look cool in front of the ladies without the negative health effects!

BootyGod November 15 2008 10:40 PM EST

Women just love men who smoke their computers. Tell her you can play Starcraft 2 on it and you've just got yourself a partner for the rest of your life =D

Cube November 18 2008 11:17 AM EST

If it actually works as well as they say though Tal, you would be willing to pay that extra though, right? I mean the savings healthwise would definitely be worth it...

AdminTal Destra November 18 2008 11:19 AM EST

nah i don't need my nicotine to be any healthier i need it strong if they give a free trial and its strong enough i would consider purchasing it but nothing compares to a unfiltered menthol cig

Admindudemus [jabberwocky] November 18 2008 4:00 PM EST

i thought this was apropos.

Colonel Custard [The Knighthood] November 18 2008 5:45 PM EST

Tal: what about unflitered apricot-flavored nicotine steam? Don't knock it till you try it.

Unappreciated Misnomer November 18 2008 5:57 PM EST

are you talking about using a hooka?

Colonel Custard [The Knighthood] November 18 2008 5:59 PM EST

Nah, man. They have different flavors. Didn't you watch that 20 minute video?
