Rentals (in General)

I've got a ton of items on my characters but I don't know if I should put them in rentals or not. So I need some advice

if i was you, i would look at my fs/wtb thread first and sell me anything that you might have that i need! ; )

i think rentals are great if it is non-rares that have been boosted much higher than what can be gotten in the store or if it is near base rares. high level rares just tend to get ignored in there or picked up by people who cannot actually use them due to pr/encumbrance issues.

if the rares are quite rare though, such as spellboosters now then they can also do quite well.

Most of my gear are 3m+ NW, how well would those rent?

in that case, i would watch the rentals and wtb threads, again if it is quite rare and people cannot find them to buy, then they will rent high level ones and if not they won't.

you can get an idea by if you see several in auctions everytime you go there, then they won't rent that well. if ya never see the same items you have then they may rent well.

And DEFINITELY use other people's prices as a basis for your items... and sell me a pair of EBs. =P

Dudemus pretty much covered everything.

Very simple, see what is available for rent, and put the items that are not in those lists out there.

(looking you see that there are some items flooded in the rentals, others are almost absent and can be rented out easily (like BoM for instance)

Last time I put my BoM in rentals, it got rented once out of a month

Put them in there for shorter periods of time?

I recently put 10 things into rentals, all for a good price. Last time I looked 6 were rented within a day.
