I'm not sure I understand. You want us to come up with words using the letters in "Happy Thanksgiving" only once, and any letter that doesn't appear in there we can use twice?
When posting please type in character name...
also "happy" and "thanksgiving" may not be used.
No the letters appearing once can be used twice, all other letters in the words may be used once.
So we make up our own words? Or spell out words that can already be made up with the letters in Happy Thanksgiving?
make your own words using the letters in the words "Happy Thanksgiving" using the posts above via rules and the letter rule.

GOBBLE GOBBLE!
rave, there is 2 A's in happy thanksgiving. No entry from me yet.
and there is 2 i and only 1 k.
Rave's list looks right to me. Now to find a long word ...
Okay, the good words all seem to be there already, so let's try this:
"Happythanksgiving" occurs about 10,000 times on Google Search, so does it qualify as a word? :p
(My character is Lovefer, if you condone my rule bending!)
(triple post) BTW, I also haven't transgressed against the actual rules posted, since I HAVE used the letters once (sometimes more). ;)

Why are people posting more than one word?
No entry yet.
not sure why people are posting one word per post... ONE POST PER PERSON and ONE WORD PER PERSON.
READ THE RULES LOL.
MONIES WILL BE SENT SOON AFTER THE CONTEST ENDS ON THE 30TH OF THE MONTH...
:)
"EACH PERSON MAY ONLY ENTER ONCE, SO PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU CHOOSE YOUR WORDS CORRECTLY."
perhaps it is the fact that in your original post you never stated that and even used the plural words. ; )
I apologize for the miscommunication, you may enter only one word. The posts that have more than one word, i will pick the longest word and that will be your entry.
there is only 1 a and 1 i as vowels, and y if we count that, it is very difficult.
