Runescape (in Off-topic)

As much as i hate to say it. I've been playing alot of runescape lately. haha. This whole clan thing and clan wars got me hooked for the time being. I figure i'll give it a shot. Anyone else playing over there at the moment?

No. There are much better games out there. I don't really enjoy games where 99% of the population can't use proper grammar or even spell three letter words correctly.

I played it for a few weeks, after i got all my rune armor/weapons, i really didnt see any point in playing any longer unless you go premium, which i didnt do.

i have been trying out some small downloaded games for the pc lately, small size because i have dial up.

one worth checking out if you dont mind retro snes graphics is Sword of Jade, another good one was Well of Souls.

still playing Sword of Jade, turned out to be pretty long in terms of play time.

Well of Souls is kind of fun but eventually you wind up beating your head against a wall unless some high-level guy power-levels you.

The graphics and character sprites are funny enough to warrant a download, though. :)

I gave up on Runescape awhile ago with all the stupid changes to dueling and trading.

I quit as soon as they removed wilderness pvp as that was the only thing keeping my interest in that game. Plus I'd been playing since the original beta of runescape.

That's all I really have to say, and it's practically a reflex to say it whenever I hear or read it. :)

Eh, it gets really fun when you hit the higher levels, but once you do everything, and you have no motivation to get another 99, it "sucks".

I'm interested in the clan aspect of it. How does that work, and how do i find one?

If you want to be in a clan, you probably should get membership. Clans aren't very fun unless you can do the mini games like castle wars and you need membership to post on the forums for applying to a clan.
