Doomed to repeat history? (in Off-topic)

The clan wars of '08 strike many parallels through history that I think bear consideration.

In particular let us consider the following (from wikipedia fyi):

"The act that is considered to have triggered the succession of events that led to war was the 28 June 1914 assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, heir to the Austro-Hungarian throne, by Gavrilo Princip, a Bosnian Serb citizen of Austria-Hungary and member of the Young Bosnia. The retaliation by Austria-Hungary against the Kingdom of Serbia activated a series of alliances that set off a series of war declarations. Within a month, much of Europe was in a state of open warfare."

Now with simple CB substitution we get the following:

"The act that is considered to have triggered the succession of events that led to war was the 6 December 2008 assassination of baha bros1, member of DAS, by Steve G, a member of The Knighthood. The retaliation by DAS against the Steve G activated a series of bounties that set off a series of war declarations. Within a month, much of CB was in a state of open warfare."

Et le voila... we are repeating history...

Look on the brightside... the alternative was my WCW / NWO explanation of all this!

i think it was postponed for thirty years or so due to lack of interest. at least until novice came to power in germany and mikel brought in the das americans by attacking pearl harbor.

das finally pulled out the big guns with the use of planet's first teen angst emo bomb. the world has never been the same since.

The problem with this is that DAS is filled with relatively new members. Once they leave (and yes, some will), there will be less and less people to fill in the empty spots.

Which means they'll have to win fast too keep their confidence up. Yay for historical ties to imperial Germany!
