Whats PG (in General)

Sure I was fined 100k for non pg in chat ( at 3 in the morning might I add). Which I am greatly sorry for and you'll never see this friendly ghost swearing up a storm ever again at 3 in the morning, BUT (notice the capitol letters), I think chat ops should lighten up a little bit, and allow certain swears, I mean its a proven fact, little kids do not play this game the majority of us are over 20 and can handle it. If it was runescape, or some game that little kids play I'd be all for the pg rules, but its not.

its a general rule that has and will always be there, 3am or not you should know by now (btw what did i miss lol, just got home, and its not even 12am :P)

It seems like I've been the opposition for a few weeks now Casper (sorry) but it just happens that way. The latest poll says that the majority of active CBers, or at least the ones that voted, want to keep the PG rule as strict as it is now.

The ops are a little abusive but that is their duty to be so, i consider pg to be words like damnit, and a few others... I mean they say the B word on the radio so much now it's ridiculous.

Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't realize that just because you didn't like a rule, it gave you the right to break it repeatedly. Then, after being punished, you challenge the rule.

By the way, what you said was not just a minor violation. Besides that, if these past few days, your chat behavior has deteriorated pretty consistently.

I was kicked in a private room, by an Op who wasn't even in the room... so no matter where you go you can still get kicked.

An op must be in the room to kick you.

OB wasn't in our room and i wasn't kicked, i was killed.

You only get kicked if you don't respond when they pop in.

If I remember the occasion, you said something that deserved a /kill and then left the room. A /kill stretches across Chat in its entirety.

Well, if you were kicked, it wasn't because of your language in the private room. The owner of a private room has the right to make and enforce their own rules in that chat.

And, just out of curiosity, but...if the OP wasn't in the room...exactly how did they kick you...?

Ah, killed makes more sense, yes, you can be killed from anywhere, and even in a private room there are things you cannot say. Of course, cursing in private rooms is completely OK.

well all i did was curse... i dropped the F-Bomb followed by GW.
but he kicked me from carnage, then i was kicked from my own personal room.

I'll be honest, I think I remember which time you are referring to, but I'm not 100% certain. Then again, I don't see why it should stick out to me over other kicks/kills.

The PG rules are for everyones benefit. Thread locked, as we do not need another thread arguing PG, we had a zillion already, maybe next year, okay? Everyone be merry! :)
