Antimagic Field and Dispel Magic. Which one would work better for my team? :o

amf

How many levels are you willing to invest in either?

Nehemiah January 4 2009 3:54 PM EST

eh, guardian angel is better than both in all situations i think except against balrog flame.

why? because it works against magic and melee damage, those AS teams gotta do some sort of damage and i bet its magic or melee 2/3 chance!

God Bless you!

Jesus Loves you!

whops, just noticed you have phantom link, cancel the guardian angel idea, they dont stack ...

AMF

Hmm, just some food for thought...

But is the MM on your familiar minion very effective in combat? or does the XP dilution due to 3 minions + junction make it just a "handy but not crucial" xp expenditure?

If it's the latter, then maybe you could train AMF on that minion, which frees up your decay/amf minion to train decay/??? which might be useful.

Dunno, maybe the equipment on the familiar minion makes the MM worthwhile, but considering you're using noldorins instead of AG's, and you cannot use a CoI due to the tat, I'd hazard a guess that the damage that the familiar does would far outweigh the damage that the minion does; and hence that minion becomes a candidate for a retrain.

Anyway, nice strat, very little or no exp dilution from what I can see... did you decide between DM and AMF? For me, the answer to that question depends on what the major damage dealers are in the top flight characters... although I've always liked DM.

Cheers,
muon.

DM, need to reduce GA and AS both of which have become quite popular of late. AS is a pain due to having to hack through heaps of hp and GA well it can hit u pretty hard unless u your heavy on the ac generated through +

Brakke Bres [Ow man] January 5 2009 6:25 AM EST

MM and EF have little effect on GA compared to FF or CoC.

DM is more suited for the quickkill strategy. Yours is not one of those...

AMF is well more suited for your team, stops those spread damage since you have no GA yourself

Muon, you're right, it is handy but not completely necessary. However I had full AMF on the minion before I turned it into MM and the MM has allowed me to at least add another person on my fightlist who was beating me when I had AMF. And I don't lose anyone on my fightlist.
