Which of the two would grant more physical damage reduction?
250 AC, or 200 AC and a (+20) SoC (10% damage reduction)?
250 AC pre-SS: 42% reduction
200 AC pre-SS: 33.6% reduction, 40.24% with 10%.
250 AC post-SS: 52.5% reduction
200 AC post-SS: 42% reduction, 47.8% with 10%.

So in other words. Don't bother getting a SoC...

not necessarily - its basically between spending money on a MS and less money on my other armors, but taking a higher penalty to my spells VERSUS spending more money to 200 AC on my other armors and using an SoC which has no penalties to my spells.
