Spawn rates a tad high? (in General)

just look at katanas and elven stiletto's.

You didn't click on them, did you?

There's over a 1000 katanas in the game, and I'm willing to bet the majority of those aren't anywhere near an active character.

If you mean by, you didn't click on them did you, that most of those katanas and stiletto's are player auctions, then you are correct.

But every item the spawn rate is a bit high, those katanas and ES's spawned from somewhere?

Just look at the number of active players and the number of rares.

And now with the old accounts no longer being purged, the statistics are screwy.

if they are high for some items, they seem low for others. check the mithril shields for example. four have been sold by the auctioneer since november of last year.

To be fair, I sold two dozen Katanas and 5 ES's in the past few days.
