Well apparently a package I ordered was supposed to have been sent to me back on the the 9th and I never received it so either. A) It got lost. or B) Someone stole it. And I am leaning towards A since we have locked mailboxes here. So needless to say I'm a little pissed off.

Similar thing happened to me. Bought some stuff as Christmas presents, didn't find the box until the snow melted. Turns out it had basically been run over and almost everything was destroyed.

I know how you feel. I sent my Xbox 360 back for repair last July and UPS sent it to the wrong house. Still to this day I do not have my Xbox 360.
i ordered a mail order bride from russia. she was delivered to my neighbor's house by accident. after seeing her moustache, i decided not to file a complaint. my wife would've probably been angry anyways.

Well I talked to my normal mailman who is the cool one, apparently he had the day off so it was his sub. I am a little bummed but I guess I can just order it again. Does Amazon's shipping include Insurance? Because I ordered it via Amazon.

Send Amazon an email. I had a package lost, sent them an email at 10 PM. By midnight they responded. They were out of stock and offered a refund, or said I could get another one sent when they were back in stock (would've been a few weeks wait). Got a refund by the time I woke up the next morning.
That's for items shipped BY Amazon, rather than through Amazon. If your item was purchased on Amazon but actually sold by a different merchant, it may not be as easy.

It was sold by a different Merchant but sold through amazon. But I believe Amazon still insures all packages based on the shipping cost. But I am not sure.

Package insurance is usually done by the company shipping it. USPS requires payment for package 'lost' insurance. I dunno if they do this for free with packages with declared value of <$100, like UPS does, but this is usually cheap, only like 50cents-$1 per every hundred after $100 of declared value (with UPS). It is important to check what Amazon actually insures for (if anything) before you re-order the package. Also check with USPS if the package had any extra insurance on it (even if you didnt pay for it). Good luck (I work at UPS currently--good job for people in college if anyone is looking for one)
