Another down time (in General)

Yes CB is back now, but it has been out for 5 hours.
And chat doesn't work.

Are we back to CB1 when cache flushes crashed the server all the time?

No idea, but it's getting pretty regular... and annoying :(

pretty regular = 2 times in a row? i would wait it out before saying that, like 15 in a row is getting regular

17 Feb : "dormant" infinite loop bug surfaced, killed the server for a long time, supposedly fixed
18 Feb : server lost power
23 Feb : host took server down (by mistake) for AUP violation
25 Feb : looks like the "dormant" bug that was supposedly fixed resurfaced

its been off and on for like a week now, thats fairly regular :/

Only been a handful of times in the 2 years I've been playing. All things considered not that bad.

should we give this week a name and put it in wiki so that the future generations of CBers know about this?

its hard to stay competitive when 1 of the 2 times i log on daily i cant burn ba :(

ahh common guys it happen very rarely that cb is down. And everyone stay at the same level of competition since no one can play while CB is down. Its not a couple of hundred BA that will change the whole competitive-ity of a character...
Maybe that those who are irritated with this should rethink their life priorities.(me first...)
and Hey Novice_clone its such a good idea (in my opinion) to name this week, maybe someone should run a contest about this...
I am sure that those downtime were not done on purpose, i guess its just badluck.
I think we should only be happy to be able to play this wonderful game for free.

ok i hope i did not hurt anyone feeling,(but i kind of have a feeling someone wont agree with me..) in resume i just want to say that downtime happens and its a part of everything on the net, including Carnage Blender, and we got to live with it and there's nothing we can do about it except to be cool with it.Cheers to CB ! I agree with the hotdog...as strange as the sounds (a fatman agreeing with talking food) we are very luck that through in all, cb is still free... rejoice that we have a place to come and fit in no matter what walk of life you are (as long as you have access to the internet),you can come to the blender and blend for free. BTW, I'm having hotdogs for dinner, and if the start talking to me I may be locked in a padded room for a while.....hopefully they have internet :)

There have been a few down times over the life of CB.

I have no idea how many but they seem to run in spurts.
