being farmed (in General)

I'm currently being farmed by the charactor yhew i normally wouldnt care as its part of the game, but he dropped my score 800k. Any tips to beat him without losing other targets would help greatly. Thanks.

Some extra pieces of information would certainly be welcome...

i.e. who is attacking you then and why do you care so much?


note: when your score is lower, your rewards will go up!

he is losing almost 1 out of 5 battles to you and thus giving you free xp. my suggestion is to send a thank you note.

seriously your doing fine. let him give you free exp and when he drops your score if you can still beat your list you should be getting better rewards and those farming you should get less and therefore back off a little bit

The person only attacked you 180 times, I wouldn't even closely consider such a thing farming because there are 15 other people winning against you frequently also.

And the reason for the 'farming' might be just that you are too tasty a target, Yhew is about half your size so you must have a weak strategy vs it...

Is there anything i can do to beat him without losing other targets?

DM is about it... but since you use AMF....

you can't really reduce or GA his RoBF damage so the only option is getting rid of his HP faster while not dying due to his GA

My RoS will allow me to train Dm, I may have to look into that.

considering that he has 4 enchanters all casting EDs with no RoS then DM will be worth it's weight in gold

being attacked alot and thus lowering your score is beneficial in one regard, it makes you less of a target for other players, both higher and lower. when your score goes down so does their challenge bonus.

about the only downside to this is if you are in a clan the lost clan points can be annoying, but if the person attacking is losing to you some, then that usually outweighs the lost clan points.

not that closing holes in your strategy isn't a good idea, but understanding that score really means nothing to you, only your opponents is a pretty important part of the game.

True but when you have a lower score, you will be a less nice target and score is somehow (I suspect) a hidden factor in fight rewards

As others have said DM, you could try a MCM on death to help a small amount versus the RoBF/GA.

initially(the the target is first added to the attacker's fight list) that could happen though i think the impact would be minor and offset once again by the free xp. if the attacker keeps the target on their fight list though all scores would stabilize very quickly and have no further impact.

as far as an impact on the general score in the game, one person coming down a certain amount usually means several others coming up by smaller amounts and is likely a wash.

the problem for sage here however is that yhew is quite a lot smaller than him ;)

I tried the mcm it saved me for about 3 more rounds, i also added an HoC for a free ranged hit. Not sure as to how that will help yet. Also i added a Dm on one of my ablative shield minions as hp is not really an issue at this point. I think once my Dm gets high enough i should be fine. Thanks guys. =).
