Nice insurance bill then? Lol.
Got no pics of my babes, but I've a Strat and a Tele that I've had for the past twenty years. The Tele was bought with my first paychecks from my first full time job, the Strat I 'inherited'. I borrowed it for a gig back in about 96. The guy I borrowed it from was in a band I worked with on and off. I loaned him some money around the same time. He took off not long after that so I kept the guitar, better than getting the loan paid back anyhow.
The Strat's my favourite though, not as heavy as the Tele. Both are a bit battered on the surface, although the works are in tip top condition. Got no amps right now though, apart from a little Fender 25 watt practice thing. No room at home, so I sold em. Still, kindness of friends if I need an amp still works.
Use to have a Rickenbacker 12 string years ago. Sold it, still miss it.

*laugh*, nice one, Shade! That's my guitar, too!

You're saving up for a $150k guitar? You don't want, like, a couple houseboats or something?
I would maybe consider blowing that kind of dough (if I had it) on a 50's Strat, but not a Tele. :)
I don't have the money either, just joking. :P

I miss my acoustic :/ Too bad I live in a condo with pretty 'thin' walls. You guys have some nice names in here
Those inlays are nifty. I want to buy an acoustic someday.

Regarding my Guitar Hero style and level, sorry to say but I'm not really gifted to play a real guitar.
I do admire and respect people who can play guitars though so please don't take my funny entry as a pun on your topic...

Shade, you don't have to know how to play to enjoy a cheaper acoustic. I never had lessons, was shown power cords and how to play the intro to Nothing Else Matters (when you play that intro you can't believe how easy it is but yet how much of an impact it made) If you are interested, you shouldn't let inexperience stray you from trying the real thing
