opinions on strat idea (in General)

i'm planning for an NCB in a couple of months, maybe sooner. i was going to use a familiar and junction strat, with 2 minions. however due to the change to junction this idea has gone.

i have the following idea in mind that might work. it is a 2 minion strat with both minions being used from the start.

EQUIP: AoI, BoF, Corn
TRAIN: 1/3 DM, 2/3 AS

Mage
EQUIP: HoC, NSC, DB. and a RoBF
TRAIN: 1/3 HP, 2/3 FB

should this be effective. any ideas to make it better or any other 2 minion strat ideas that don't revolve around an AoJ (not spending the money needed for one of them).

yes RoBF but no on the FB, you should train AS and rest DM on the RoBF minion and PL/HP on the second

i'm generally reluctant to give strat advice, as i've only been playing for about 2 months, but RoBF generally requires a defensive-based strategy to function well; since its damage is done over time, you just want to stay alive and let the other guy die.

so then something like this

equip TSA, BoF, AoI

train 1/2 AS, 1/2 AMF -> should need that
equip Corn, DB, RoBF
