i have made a new chat room called Trade.

beware it is PG as well and no foul language will be tolerated

There's nothing wrong with starting trades in chat. What's wrong is spamming ads all the time, or things like working out all the details publicly when you can take it to PM.

It sounds like your chatroom will be geared towards running constant ads. Is that correct?

reason why post in WTB forum cost money is because the public is encouraged to use in game auction system. But of course there are certain transactions that can't be sold using auction, so it's allowed for now via posts.

Starting a chat room just for Trade definitely defeats the purpose. I say if this is allowed, whatever fraud / trade dispute should not be entertained by anyone. No pity given too.

If they want to be in teh room all the time. That is their business. Private rooms are just that.. Private to do anything they want :). If they aren't online the chat room disappears. Simple and easy.

Since when have they ever been entertained if the two involved didn't bother to make a PR post?

For everyone else based in reality, creating a Marketplace-type chatroom is far from new.

Op can kick you out of your own room anyway :P
