As of now, the only way to unlearn a spell is to unlearn the whole thing, taking the exp hit (98% for spells, 95% for intrinsics I think). Anyways, why isn't there a partial unlearn? There isn't much to clarify with how it would work because its a simple idea... but what are the reasons that we DON'T have it?

Fair enough. But with new items and changemonths and whatnot, surely Jon wants some flexibility for our strategies..

You do have flexibility in your strategies. The simple cost is 2% of your exp.
