PR and Score (in General)

I don't think it's fair that my larger PR keeps my score above Vectoidz. Can we get a fix on this?

is your larger pr keeping your score above his or is his smaller pr capping his score gain?

I gain more score because my score is below my PR

well i took the weekend to think about this and wanted to share my thoughts.

if i understand the problem correctly, training no longer gives a score increase if score is greater than pr. this means that vectoidz score is increasing, but solely by fighting rather than by training. his score growth has slowed down though and this allows you to be even higher since you still get growth from both activities. his score does not represent his power as he can beat you and all the opponents you can beat as well and you think that means his score should show that.

on the other hand though, score has never really represented power in the game. what we often tell people is that score means nothing until you are picking opponents for the best rewards. so pr means power, score means rewards.

with the current setup, you are likely a better target rewards wise. since your pr is larger you would likely give more xp per fights and your score represents that. the top of the game is now really likely in line more with the rest of the game and score actually does mean something, just not what most think it should.

on top of this, if Vectoidz beats you he'll get more score when his score is lower than your score, not?

If that's the case then it just takes a while for his score to get higher from fighting...

No, Nov is right. His score is higher because his PR (or MPR) is higher. I am not sure which is correct, but this is definitely the case.

the gap was wider when this was first posted and continues to close. i am watching to see if vectoidz score can hit number one & stay there.

With King of Pain back in the saddle again, and beating Vectoidz regularly, I do not think a number one spot is possible for Vectoidz.
