MoD vs. MH (in General)

Ok, so I've recently begun to debate the merits of MoD vs MH on my char Anbhas...

I'm thinking of switching to an MH for the following reasons:
1) Undispellable VA
2) XP currently trained as VA could be switched to BL = more damage
3) Higher base damage on the MH

The only counter argument I can envision is the PL-proof nature of the MoD. The double AS damage, on the whole, I think is negated my the BL + higher damage.

Any input or insight you may offer I would appreciate.

one of the big reasons i went mod on my tank when i had it was due to it being one handed and so gave less penalty from most armours associated with my tank.

I think you should use BL regardless.

Also the MH is just going to give you more damage, I don't know if you need that with all the ST and EC help.

Oh come on. The Morg is simply cooler. That's the best reason for using it.

You should be using BL anyway.

Keep in mind that a Morg isn't as strong as the base makes you think it is! The BoTH and the MH have "hidden damage penalties" and so they are weaker than they appear...it's really about as strong as an Exec. Your MoD isn't that far below that.

So the real debate here is...unPL'able damage, 2x against AS, and trained VA? Or drop the VA and use the exp for BL?

If really what you want is more damage switch to a BoNE. Not as cool as the Morg, but much more powerful.

Do some testing. I think the MH actually does less damage because the VA effect messes with the damage output. Can anyone confirm this?

^It's been nerfed a few times without changing the 84x number.
